Penggunaan Article A/AN atau THE

kali ini saya akan berbagi ilmu kepada teman2 semua mengenai penggunaan article a/an atau the dalam kalimat. Semoga ilmu yang sedikit ini bermanfaat.

Study these nouns.
a. Countable nouns (Benda yang dapat dihitung)
a supermarket a computer
b. Uncountable nouns (Benda yang tidak dapat dihitung)
Technology money
Note:
They have no  plural and you cannot use them with a or an.
(untuk benda yang tidak dapat dihitung tidak memiliki jumlah jamak dan tidak boleh menggunakan article a atau an)
Study this paragraph.
Computers have many users. In shops a computer scans the price of each item. Then the computer calculates the total cost of all the items.
1. We use a plural noun with no article, or an uncountable noun when we talk about things in general.
(Kita menggunakan benda dalam jumlah jamak tanpa article atau pada benda yang tidak dapat dihitung ketika kita membicarakan sebuah benda secara umum)
- Computers have many users
- Information technology is popular

2. We use a/an when we mention a countable noun for the first time.
(Kita menggunakan a/an ketika kita menyebutkan kata benda yang dapat dihitung untuk pertama kalinya dalam sebuah kalimat)
- In shops a computer scans the price of each item

3. When we mention the same noun again, we use the.
(Ketika kita menyebutkan benda yang sama kembali maka kita menggunakan article the)
- The computer calculates the total cost of all the items

4. We use the with countable and uncountable nouns to refer to spesific things.
(Kita dapat menggunakan article the pada benda yang dapat dihitung dan tidak dapat dihitung pada saat merujuk spesifik benda tersebut)
- The price of each item
- The total cost of all the item
- The speed of this computer

Example in paragraph.
The John family have a computer at home. Their son uses the computer to help with a homework and to play the computer games. Their student daughter uses the computer for the project and for an email. All the  family use it to get the information from an internet.
